The first work by "Fallopian Fighter Productions" opened today at AngelGate. It seemed to be quite well recieved with press already from two different blogs. ( The Great SL Expedition and NPIRL )
This build is the product of a creative residency at AngelGate, and here is the info from the exhibit:
"The Throes of Rapture"
A collaborative installation by Fallopian Fighter Productions for Art of The SLacred - "Metamorphosis"
"The Throes of Rapture" is an immersive, metaphorical journey highlighting how the opposing forces of life, such as darkness and light, positive and negative, push us in the same direction, with each experience building off of the other.
A "metamorphosis" from avatar to heavenly being will happen as an entire life is symbolized in only a few moments, and the resident finds themselves in heaven.
The installation is a virtual trip to heaven constructed inside of a tube that extends nearly 100 meters up into the sky. Inside you will go through a fully immersive environment of sound and landscape that will recreate dark and light life experiences, feelings, and emotions. Each set of textures and sounds will build on the last, until the final destination, "Heaven" or the "Afterlife" as seen by Strawberry Holiday and Dozzy Biziou, where all the prims react and interact with the resident.
