When I made the switch from focusing on Peachy Accessories to making builds like "A Fishbowl View" and "On Their Journeys" I never planned on making money from that sort of artwork. As I put more time into Second Life, and the Fallopian Fighters, my real life got more and more involved. The man I've been seeing and my workout regimen have become increasingly important and time consuming.
But its the residents of Second Life who have requested this new addition. I get daily requests for trees and build elements, and now they're available in two locations OnRez and in world at Strawberry's Tree Store, Marawa .

Underwater Dream
The latest finished thing I've been working on is a small underwater installation at Rezzable 06. The build is completely by myself, in fact you may recognize some elements of it from previous builds. Including the dragon from The Glowing Tree and the mermaid originally created for my first large scale installation, A Fishbowl View. This installation currently has no time frame, no official beginning or end, but I'll update when there is one!

The closing event for Throes of Rapture is tonight, Monday April 21, 2008, at 7:00PM SLT.
A collaborative installation by Fallopian Fighter Productions for the Art of The SLacred - "Metamorphosis" project, Throes is a virtual trip to heaven where on your journey you go traverse a fully immersive environment of sound and landscape that recreates dark and light life experiences, feelings, and emotions.

My Flickr and Twitter need YOU!
My Flickr and Twitter are becoming integral parts of my Second Life! However, many of my friends and group members from SL are not on my friends list on either site, much less both!
In order to remedy this situation I am offering a prize to anyone who IMs me or leaves a comment on my blog (blog.strawberryholiday.com) with your Flickr name and Twitter name. **You must actually make me a friend on Flickr, and follow me on Twitter, so I can do the same.**
The Prize will be 4 copyable trees (so you can make your own forest of Strawberry Trees) including a tree from "Journey", a pink tree from "Rapture", a green tree from "Rapture", and one of the new "Words" trees. The "Words" trees will be not only copyable, but also modifyable, so you can delete my words out and put your own particles in if you wish!

Throes of Rapture
Throes of Rapture
The first work by "Fallopian Fighter Productions" opened today at AngelGate. It seemed to be quite well recieved with press already from two different blogs. ( The Great SL Expedition and NPIRL )
This build is the product of a creative residency at AngelGate, and here is the info from the exhibit:
"The Throes of Rapture"
A collaborative installation by Fallopian Fighter Productions for Art of The SLacred - "Metamorphosis"
"The Throes of Rapture" is an immersive, metaphorical journey highlighting how the opposing forces of life, such as darkness and light, positive and negative, push us in the same direction, with each experience building off of the other.
A "metamorphosis" from avatar to heavenly being will happen as an entire life is symbolized in only a few moments, and the resident finds themselves in heaven.
The installation is a virtual trip to heaven constructed inside of a tube that extends nearly 100 meters up into the sky. Inside you will go through a fully immersive environment of sound and landscape that will recreate dark and light life experiences, feelings, and emotions. Each set of textures and sounds will build on the last, until the final destination, "Heaven" or the "Afterlife" as seen by Strawberry Holiday and Dozzy Biziou, where all the prims react and interact with the resident.

No Entry
My world is like Second Life except instead of being able to go anywhere I'd like, I live in my own sim, with a giant "DO NOT ENTER" texture that prevents anyone from entering my parcel.
Most of the time I don't even realize I'm on a different sim, because I can talk to people, across the sim boundary. There are only subtle hints that alert me that things are off kilter, because the music channel is different, and I can't seem to hear the birds chirping and the other ambient sounds that they seem to hear and comment on.
This weekend, though--I think I found someone who was able to cross the border into my sim. He'd been in his own, until this weekend... but I know we were both hearing the same music.
Perhaps we just both tuned into the same radio station, but perhaps, just perhaps.. he was able to turn on God mode, and cross the Do Not Enter sign.
